Small Update- had Dr. Braverman consult.
Small update: I had my consult with Dr. Braverman and he seems to be everything everyone says he is! I did all the blood work and now we're just waiting for the results to come back.
One thing he told me, which I had no idea about, is that my 21 week loss could have been from a clotting issue. I was never given any definitive cause. But next time I was pg, they would just do a cerclage and that would be that. But he said (and he said he wasn't diagnosing anything, b/c he wasn't there, etc), that even a subtle clotting issue could cause the placenta to not attach properly and cause a 2nd trimester loss. If he is right, which I suspect he is, then he turned my world around. To have an answer to that huge question mark that has been hanging over our heads
So I'll know a lot in a couple of weeks.

I hope dr. braverman gets you the answers you are looking for. I had failed IVF cycles with one RE who kept telling me I was fine and couldnt figure out why my IVF didnt work or why I keep miscarrying. Well, I left, went to SIRM and on my first IVF cycle I am pg with twins. Dr. Braverman figured it all out for me, along with Dr. Kofinas who is monitoring me closely! I am 15 weeks and doing well. I thought you would like another success story from him.
