Smelly hair/body?

Does your DC's hair/body ever smell like rotten formula? We give DS a bath every other day and by the end of the 2nd day his hair smells like rotten formula. I find that I have to wash his hair inbetween his baths b/c it smells so bad. Why is this happening?

I find that sometimes, I think its because their hands are constantly in their mouths and then they touch their hair. At least thats what my DD does constantly!!!

I remember when my sons were infants, they were on nutromigen(sp?) and that was the worst smelling formula...even when it was fresh it smelled so strong, so I gave my boys a bath every day just so they never smelled like it!

i give my DD a bath almost every day for that same reason. she smells like rotten milk. (she was breastfed) but she's spit up, and it would dribble into the back of her hair, neck etc. and she would smell awful. so into the tub every night just because of that. if i got lucky and she didn't smell much that day, she might get to skil a bath, but it really depended on how much milk she got into her hair.

I get so embaressed sometimes when friends or family hold her !! I have to always mention that I did bathe her the day before b/c she smells so bad

I couldn't stand the smell so they got a bath every morning. I gave them sponge baths on the mornings they didn't get a bath. The smell was horrendous and I felt like they weren't clean. At night I would wipe them down with a damp wash cloth before bedtime.

I give DD a bath every day. They have their hands in their mouths, and stuff like that and then touch their faces and what-not. So I give her a bath every night.
