This is what did, I had a general idea of when I was going to O, so DH and I made sure we BD starting 3 days before and then once I got my  , we did that day and the following 2 days.
IMO it's more important to BD leading up to O then after.

I would start the BD marathon and the testing before the 30th ... your O date can change from month to month.
I know I usually O between CD 11 - CD 16, so I start testing around CD 9.
We start BD around CD 10, and go every other day until + opk ... then 3 days in a row.
