Smithtown Area. 1st Birthday Party recs..
...I was originally going to have Caden's 1st birthday party at home. I have a really tight budget. After I figured it all out..for a little extra money..I might just be better off having it at a place and save myself some sanity..(my yard is a wreck and that alone will take me weeks to get in some what shape for a party)..Additionally if it rains I'd just be better off with an indoor restaurant.
Im in Nesconset and most of the attendees live in or around that area. I need a place that is economical and I would like a private area or room...I was thinking of a Chinese Buffet place but the only one Ive gone to is Ying Yang and they dont have a private room or area...But Im not married to the idea of Chinese Buffet either..
Recommend Ladies!!!!!!

I had my sister's bridal shower several months ago at J&R's Steakhouse in Stony Brook. The food was great, and it was so inexpensive. The luncheon was $13.99 pp with a choice of 3 entrees, salad, coffee and tea, rolls and a beautiful cake. They have two party rooms and can accomodate up to 150 people.

I actually found a place that looked pretty good but of course i lost the name of it. I *think* if i remember correctly its the place on 347 that used to be a bar, it's over by J&R's and McDonalds that kinda sits back far...or i could be totally wrong

Also, my sister had her RD at Aegean pizza next to Alpine Bakery in Smithtown. The food was great and their party room is very nice and the price was reasonable

If you want a Chinese Buffet. The Crystal Garden in Ronkonkoma is good. They have a separate room. It's right on Portion Road in the Meat Farms shopping center.

i definitely recommend Paradise diner (where 454 & 347 meet). They have really nice private room, GREAT food choices...soup, salad, entree & dessert (i think) for a really reasonable price).
My brother and sister in law just had my nephews 1st birthday party there, my shower & my sisters shower was also there!

We had DD's 1st Birthday at Giorgios in Nesconset. Its was economical and the best part was they cleaned up after the party
