Smithtown/ St. James PArking
I was wondering if anyone knew if you were allowed to park on the street in residential areas
I'm not from around there and there were no cars parked on the street....was it just a coincidence or a law lol

Unless it states on a sign that you can't, then absolutely you can. I grew up there and my ILs still live there and we have always parked on the streets.

I live in St. James and the residents usually park in their own driveways, that's why you don't see many cars in my area. There are no parking rules by me. It's just a nice perk of the neighborhood.

Where we are in Smithtown (Pines) there is no street parking between 2-6 am, although I am not sure how strictly they enforce it.
