Smokey Bones in Ronkonkoma
Does anyone know when this new restaurant on the service road between exits 60 and 61 on the LIE is opening? My dh is dying to go there.

I just asked him to see if he knew off the top of his head.
He said that it was supposed to open last week but he thinks it will open up either next week or the week after...he will look for the definitive date tomorrow

Thanks so much! There is also a Red Lobster opening up next to it. I don't think it is open up yet either.

I was reading LIPress Newspaper today, and it listed Tuesday, August 23rd as their first night open.
I love that place- I used to eat there all the time in Albany.

the food is amazing and reasonably priced
I used to eat in the one in Albny all the time
I called a few days ago and it was supposed to open aug 23 but the opening is getting pushed back to sept7th
if anyone goes ...you have to try to minin cinnimon donuts  AMAZING

We went to the Smokey Bones in Mass a few months ago and really enjoyed it. We've been waiting to go to the one in Ronkonkoma

They had a smokey bones by us when we lived in Michigan. It was always crowded. Usually it was good - but sometimes it was hit and miss - it is a lesser expensive bbq place.
