Smooshing Baby? Sleeping issues...
I am 32 weeks and now that the baby is so much bigger and I am so much more aware of him I am constantly worried about this. I woke up in the middle of the night and i was sleeping flat on my stomach with my snoogle wedged in there too - I must have been in that position for a while because there were lines all over my belly I was so worried for the rest of the night that I smooshed the baby! Is this possible or am I crazy?

Same with me. When I actually sleep I am awakened by huge thumps as if she is saying- hey get off me. I start off on my side with the snoogle and I just move in the middle of the night. When I get hit or kicked I do move and it seems to stop. That could just be in my own head. Forget sleeping on my back- it is so hard to get comfy now.

i find myself smooshing the baby at times with my pillow, but i just move and then i feel movement so i know its ok.. i am more comfy on my right side over my left, so i tend to favor that side. I am 33 weeks and all i want to be is comfy...

Re: Smooshing Baby? Sleeping issues...
I feel that way too...but I don't think we need to worry. I don't think anything ever happened to an unborn baby b/c mommy was sleeping on her belly!? I hope not anyway!!
I always feel bad b/c my little guy is so active at night, when I'm in bed, so I never know if its because I'm smooshing him or if its just him !!
