Sneakers

I am desperate need of new sneakers. I haven't bought new sneakers in a looooong time. All of the sneakers I looked at now all have memory foam and are so light it feels like they are not going to last. Almost all brands including Nike, New balance, Asics.

Do these new light sneakers hold up? Does anyone have suggestions for a walking type sneaker?

I buy Nike and Asics fairly frequently and have not encountered the memory foam issue- I mostly wear running shoes- Right now I like the Nike Zoom Pegasus and Asics gel kayano. Dicks has a good selection of sneakers and the staff is usually Pretty knowledgeable about the products they carry.
