Sneaking out of work

Do you ever sneak out of work a little early?

Re: Sneaking out of work

I do it all the time and almost always get caught. My boss now calls 5 minutes before I am scheduled to leave. (He's on the other side of town).

He really can't say anything because I put in a lot of extra hours in the summer.

i don't really have to 'sneak' anything- my bosses are pretty cool about leaving early/coming late b/c i rarely ask.

No...can't really get away with that at my job. For us, sneaking out early means leaving at 4:45 which is when the building empties out anyway.

Re: Sneaking out of work

I don't have to do that here. Our supervisors are pretty cool about when we come and go, as long as our work gets done. I don't take advantage though. Right now everyone knows I don't have much to do, so I've been trying to leave around 4:30.

Re: Sneaking out of work

In this prison (ooops.. I mean office) that I work in.. there is NO way you can sneak out early without getting "caught" ...

They'll dock you the time OR ask you to make it up by working late or cutting your lunch short

Its not even worth me trying to sneak out, I dont need the BS, so I usually just let them know when I need to leave early and make up the time

Re: Sneaking out of work

yup....i also sneak in late.
I figure that there are plenty of times I come in extra early or stay extra late...so 15 minutes every so often is going to hurt anything
