What brand do you have? Gas or electric? Any comments, good or bad?

We're using Consumer Reports as a guide, but I wanted to hear if anyone had one they loved or hated.

TIA! Cathy

Re: Snow blowers

WE have one that is a Sears - Kenmore? Craftsman? Whatever their brand name is...Ive never used it but my DH is annoyed he's had to replace a bunch of parts already and its only be 2 winters. When its working great, it works great but the parts thing is definitely irritating b/c sometimes they have to order it

Re: Snow blowers

I got an Ariens from Home Depot around this time last year. It's gas with an electric start. I have a rather large driveway, so it's a much needed item for us.

Re: Snow blowers

May I ask what consumer reports is recommending? DH and I are looking for one too. My mother has a Toro-gas with an electric start option. It's worked great for a while now.
