There was about 3 inches of heavy wet snow in Bayside this morning, at 6:50 as I left for the train.
It was still snowing furiously.

I didn't take it seriously. I thought meh it's not going to stick, it was 60 degrees yesterday! Boy, was I wrong. I hope it's gone by tomorrow, but the roads were surprisingly bad this morning. At least since the schools were off and it's the day after Easter they were emptier.

Even when I woke up at 7 am it wasn't that bad. By 8 am when I was ready to leave it was terrible.
And the roads were shit. A mess.

The roads by me were horrible this morning!!! I think nobody was expecting much & it was at its worst during the morning commute... plows weren't out yet & trying to park on the streetwas a nightmare! Driving 10 mph trying not to slide into parked cars & having to gently tap the brake. Ugh, What a mess!!!
