Snow map
My 5yo is going to be so happy if she gets to build a snowman bc she hasn't yet this winter. Dh on the other hand is going to be miserable lol. I just want one week where everyone is out of my hair for 5 full days and not sick or home for a snow day.

God I really hope so. I don't think I have gotten one full week of my kids at school all year. And I have a part time job working from home now so my time is already limited and it's impossible to get anything done when they are home. I really feel for the parents that need to work full time and some how arrange for childcare on these days.

It doesn't help that my kids are weirdos. My 1st grader especially, LOVES school. If he ends up having no school on Wednesday, he will be miserable. I even let them have limitless TV & ipad time on snow days. Doesn't matter. By 10 AM they are bored and cranky and whining.

At least mine aren't the only 2 that don't jump for joy with snow days! Let's hope we get the 1-3 inches some stations are reporting. Nothing would make me happier.

I know my district is the same! They are not home for one snow day but two snow days. They can't get the roads clear ever. I can't with the snow days! Seriously get my kids to school. Didnt we just get back from February break which lasted way too long. I love my kids I do, but we had a lot of sicknesses and kids were home a lot in February so get them back to school!! They need it.

I cancelled my trip last night. Jet Blue waived the change/cancellation fee because of the storm. Hotel hasn't, so I have to fight them to get my points reinstated.
It was a one day trip to Orlando for a meeting.

Ugh - I would rather we get a huge storm and be "stuck" at home then have to deal with the 3-4 inches that is not enough to justify staying home and just makes everything a mess and miserable

Same here- especially since everything is supposed to be worse in the city. I just want a damn snow day.
