NOAA says 5 inches expected for 3/21-3/22. Accuweather has a trace to about half an inch for the same time frame....
So again, nobody has any idea what might happen....

It better not!! That's DD's birthday.. and we're having it at the house. They better be able to go sit outside or else we'll have a couple people hanging out in the bathrooms and spare bedroom. 
But seriously, ENOUGH. I'm sick as a dog, too, and this snow is just making me depressed.

We got off a flight from Florida 2 years ago on like 4/28 or 4/29 and I remember landing at Islip, and it was FREEZING. People coming to the airport for outbound flights were in winter coats and Uggs. No joke. Here I am in my sundress and flip flops from Florida's 85 degree weather that I just left - and it was like 40 degrees, rainy and damp as heck. I remember me and DH being like- THIS is late April? It felt like early March.
The weather around here is for the birds.

That's when I was giving birth! lol! I remember it being so cold when I took DD home. Then last year on her birthday it was like 85 degrees and SO EFFING HOT. You can't win!

I'm in the Caribbean and supposed to fly home Wednesday. Wouldn't mind one bit if they cancelled our flight and we had to stay an extra day!

Snow map *updating AGAIN for week of 3/19
My daughter's knee surgery is scheduled for Thursday... this better not mess with that! Seeing the weather maps going through 8 a.m. on Thursday morning... yeah, I'm starting to go into full panic mode. Simply because I cannot imagine having to tell DD that her surgery has to be put off even longer. Rationally, I know it probably won't affect it at all, and the roads will be passable at that point but... the illogical, panick-stricken part of me is starting to take over with every news report.
I hate snow. I hate cold. I hate winter. I hate it all. At least now I can gripe about it and don't have to hear anyone say "well, it's winter... what do you expect... of course it's going to snow."
Happy first day of spring, y'all! Lets have another fukking disgusting snowstorm to celebrate. Blah. lol

Had no idea you lived up there. I like to go fishing in Brewster at the reservoirs and off 22.
To add to the OP, we have had snow for 5 months here. I’m sick, sick, sick of it. I love snow, but it wears you down when you see it for months long with no breaks.

You would think since it's late March, but it's actually supposed to stay pretty cold, so maybe not.
I'm so ready for it to be over. And yes the LIRR has been awful this year - even in dry weather.

I'm near New City and we went from 7 when I went to bed last night to 15 when I woke up this morning. I am stressed now because we are going away and my parents and inlaws are staying with the kids. Praying we don't lose power.

If I just watched News12, Ch 7, I'd think we were getting 3-6", but the Winter Storm Warning alert says 11-15" for my area. It's all over the place!

Really though I don't believe anything till I see it outside

This! I don't believe anything! Don't get me wrong, I would love a snow day, I only had one this year, but they are usually so far off with the forecasts, that until it happens, I don't believe it!
