Re: snugli carrier
Not sure what the differences are, but Christopher loves his Snugli too. It's definitely safe!

Re: snugli carrier
A lot of people use the snugli carriers because they are so much better in price.
I know that for me I tried the snugli on when I was about 8 months PG and since I'm overweight it didn't fit me so I registered for the Eddie Bauer Carrier that was $50 and was more adjustable. However I didn't get it and I might be getting a baby bjorn from someone and I know that one is more adjustable also. But if the snugli works for you I say go for it! It's a very popular carrier.

Re: snugli carrier
I tried using this when she was about 2 months old (I thought it would help with the colic) but I guess I was overtired or something b/c the instructions totally overwhelmed me and I just shoved it back in the box and have never looked at it again. I should get it out again though, it would be easier for short walks or short trips into the store than the stroller.

Re: snugli carrier
Mine came with this booklet on how to open the sides, how to adjust all the straps, how to put the baby in. But I'm not very mechanical and I just gave up on it.
It's the one that can be used as a front or back carrier.
ETA: I'm one of those people who always reads the instructions, and I think I probably would have been better off just playing around with it in this case.

Re: snugli carrier
I don't know what the difference is. I have the snugli too and I love it. I didn't read the directions either. It seemed pretty self-explanatory to me.

Re: snugli carrier
Maybe there was something wrong with mine? I couldn't get the side things open to get her into it. Dh tried too and I made him stop b/c it looked like he was going to break the handle right off. Now I really feel stupid...
