So another Fathers Day.....(vent)

without my SD....

DH asked her is she wanted to go to lunch tommorrow....She said it should be no problem and would let him know today (ala get a pardon from the warden- her mother)

Well, he gets a text:

Dad, I'm sorry I can't come tommorrow...Hope you have a great day, I hope another day will work...Cant wait to see you all, I love you...

I am so & right now....
Not at SD because I know this is NOT her doings....And you know what? She is old enough now too to know that...She's 13 and she is now old enough to remember that it wasn't my dad who didn't want to see me, it was my mom who didnt want me to see him....

This wench is slowly going to poison her own child against her and everything shes ever done to alienate this child from her father is going to backfire right in her face and it will serve her right...

Just wish this would happen sooner rather than later -precious years are passing

Unfortunately I understand. SD blew DH off for Father's Day after he went to attempt to pick her up....not sure how long he can make excuses for her, she is 16 years old!

Well Sunday morning, he got another text from her "Happy Fathers Day" and then later in the morning she called him again...DH said she sounded "sad"...We were at the Game Farm with my 3 DC's (which is literally 10 minutes from where she lives)...

DH didn't want to make her feel bad, so he happily asked her what she was doing today etc...She said they were going for a bike ride at some park
She asked if she could come over next Saturday and we had to say no and we would need to make it another day (we are going away next weekend)

She is catching on to her mother....She knows this isn't right but is too afraid to rebel against her yet....Now that DH contacts SD directly and we no longer have to go through her mother to see her, my SD is seeing first hand what the real deal is....
