So another year without being in the public school
So I have gave up hope on getting a job in a public school... back to NYIT as a teacher for post-secondary speical ed which will be year 3, i mean I love it but the money is not there.... i wish we got paid more so i can stay but it is not possible. good luck ladies this year!

Don't give up hope! I used to work at NYIT also, and got a call in November to start teaching. Keep your resume out there, you never know!

dont give up hope this is the week principals are frantic to hire in the city, go drop off your resume at a few schools, i think its all at being at the right place at the right time now!

I got my first job on Aug 26, the second on Aug 28, and met people that got jobs in Oct or even November. Keep your resume out there!
