this reminds me of that "All in the family" episode where Gloria told Archie she could not name her son after him because his intials would be A S S.... I always thought of that when thinking of names for my future offspring...then I realized after I got married had my 1st name started with an A those would be my intials... 
Luckily they are JSS..

Because I really want Thomas as a first name, but DH refuses, so we agreed on it as a middle name.
It's my dad, and both his grandfather's names so it's pretty meaningful.
DH has to be so difficult!

i once dated a WAR... let's say, the relationship was that way also.
my initials are LG... i tell dh that i must have all LG stuff (cell phone, washer dryer... so on) because they're already monogramed.
wow... i'm still thinking about STD.
maybe you can just fill out the birth certificate w/o dh in the room and get away with naming the baby what you want.... doubt it will fly, but it's a thought
