so DD is gonna take a 4 day trip without me

101/2 yr ols DD is gonna o on a family vacation with her father, stepmother and her brothers. They will be 4 hours away I have NEVER been away from her for more than 1 day
I totally trust her stepmom and we are very close so its not that I dont think she will be safe but i am gonna MISS HER sooooo much I am sitting here in tears
I said yes because she really wants to go and I didnt want her to resent me for saying no

I so know how you are feeling because I have a 7 year old son with someone else and last year his father wanted to take him to Sesame place and I had to say yes, luckily they had to cancel. I just couldn't imagine him being away with his father not that I don't trust him but I would just miss him so much. It kills me when he sleeps there on some weekends. He is my little man!!!
