omg we did all the disney parks (no kids) and we had a blast....we love rides.

We had fun in downtown disney (drinking and clubs)

ok thats the thing, i DO love rides, so im hoping to have fun.

and i heard pleasure island is fun for adults.. but my 10yr old sister just came back from DW and said she went to Pleasure island so i was confused

just an fyi, the haunted mansion is going to be closed and so is the rockin roller coaster (i think from tues on).

I went with friends a few years back and had a good time. The parks do take up quite a bit of time. Plus - there is also universal, which is geared more towards people without children. At universal, there is city drive (?!?) and Disney has Pleasure Island. Both have a bunch of different bars and seem to be a good time. We went to PI and had a blast.

Also, after going to a park all day you will be tired regardless of age.

As far as "adult" stuff to do, Pleasure Island at night is age limited (18 & up I think). There are comedy clubs, bars, lounges and there are shows sometimes at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney if you are into that kind of music! (We missed Kenny Wayne Shephard by a night when we went ).

The fireworks displays are AMAZING at night! Try to check out each parks!

If you love rides, there is ALWAYS something to do then!

We liked eating at the Brown Derby Restuarant in MGM.....it felt like it was set in the 40's!!! Great food there!! One of our nicest nights in Disney was dinner here, then the fireworks/ 3d display in MGM (Fantasmic I think they call it)!

DH and I loved Islands of Adventure. It's part of the Universal Studios parks but you don't need to purchase a US ticket. It's a separate venue. They have the Hulk ride, Jurassic Park, Dueling Dragons etc.

Do City Walk all the way!
They have all the clubs in within walking distance.. some you can get into for free or pay $5 to get in.

I loved The Bob Marley house.. great music! Don't forget to check out The Hard Rock Cafe.

DW and I intentionally went to Disney before TTC, since we wanted to enjoy the park without kids. It's a totally different experience with and without kids.

Epcot has a lot of adult-oriented stuff. DW loved the country exhibits. I liked all of the technical things at Epcot.

I used to work in the Magic Kingdom...i love Disney!!! DH and I go back atleast twice a year - we are "those" people Definitely ck out Jellyrolls - it's a dueling piano bar on the Boarwalk at the Boardwalk resort. 21 and over to get in and lots of fun!! Have a great time - I'm jealous!!!

Pleasure Island is fun, but nothing like the nightlife you're used to in NYC. If you're looking for more club/lounge type places, I suggest you drive into downtown Orlando.

I second Jellyrolls. It was a lot of fun. Try to get reservations at California grill for around 7 PM. After dinner, you can watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom on their observation deck. It was incredible.

We did Disney last year and had the best time. We even joked that someday we will leave the kids at home and go without them so they don't take away from our fun.

(Yeah, we are waaaayy to selfish to procreate!)
