So DH and I went away for a couple of days
for our 1st Anniversary and left DS home with my mom. We were gone for two days, I felt horrible leaving him and missed him like crazy but DH and I really need a couple of days to ourselves. I feel like we haven't been able to even just sit down and talk like we used to since we had the baby and it was nice. We went out to dinner and got to sleep in  But both he and I agreed, we will not be leaving DS again for a LONG LONG time. We missed him too much! I feel like he grew while we were gone for 2 days!

DH and I made this mistake last year LOL. we went away over niht for your anniv and left DD with my parents - she was about 2.5 mths old...we missed her terribly and talked about her constantly the whole time.we havent done that again since!
