We haven't seen it yet. We are planning to. Would you pay to see it again?
But, I so loved her in Monster!

Re: So, did anyone see NORTH COUNTRY?
I would pay to see it again I think .But i dont know, it could just be because i really love her work.
all in all i htought it was a good movie though. there were some sad parts. i NEVER cry at movies but i cried alittle bit at this one. i expected it to be alittle bit more about teh courtroom then it was, but i htought it was good.
yeah, come to think of it, i owuld pay to see it again.
yes, she was certainly amazing in Monster, but this is nothing like Monster at all.

Re: So, did anyone see NORTH COUNTRY?
I want to see it- but I was wondering if there is a lot of violence? I have very little tolerance to violence against women on the screen- and I don't want to upset myself. Is this something I should see?

Re: So, did anyone see NORTH COUNTRY?
i dont think it was overly violent - there was more sexual misconduct than anything else - maybe i am desentitized to movie violence because i deal with it real violence every day ( i work with battered women )

Re: So, did anyone see NORTH COUNTRY?
I also used to work with rape victimes, battered women and abused kids- all in different jobs, so i can't bear to see it on the screen. I think I can deal with misconduct- but rape scenes or sexual abuse scenes are too much for me.
