highly doubt it... WS isnt going to be as big a deal anymore since yanks arent in it.. purely my opinion
But i hopeeee fox will be back on sunday for the jets game so DH doesnt have to go to the bar to watch

I'm surprised that advertisers on the network aren't up in arms. I believe it's 3 million viewers that can't see Fox or My 9.

My parents have Cablevision and watch Fox alot, so my dad was upset about losing the channel. Maybe less now that the Yankees aren't in the world series.
But he just hooked up his antennae that we use to have and now he can watch all the Fox he wants.

I think Fox lost a lot of leverage once The Yankee's didn't get to The World Series.
IMO Fox doesn't have a leg to stand on in terms of programming. Unless this goes until January and American Idol get's put into play.

I doubt it. Even though no NY teams are in the world series DH still wanted to watch it.
It really doesn't bother me, DH will now go to his brother's house to watch WS and football on sunday - so YAY! for quiet time for me!!! 
I do miss house though. That's really the only show we watch on Fox.

nope... they are playing GB and it is on fox... DH was pissssed to find that one out

They still have football as leverage and real baseball fans will want to see WS no matter who is playing.
Sweeps start tomorrow, that might be the only thing that makes Fox cave a little bit on their demands

From what I heard, I don't think they are even close!
Didn't realize the Jets were on this weekend. So happy the Giants were on MNF this week and they have a bye this coming weekend.

I can't believe this is still going on. Watch House online last night, but now have to wait til next Wenesday to see Glee.
I agree Fox lost leverage when the Yankess lost. The still have a little levage for football. On the upside I saw Ordinary Family yesterday and it wasn't bad at all.

Likely, no.
DH and I decided to switch to Verizon/DirecTV (no Fios by us yet), for a variety of reasons.
The Verizon tech was there today hooking up phone/internet...He actually said "I'm kind of glad the Yankees didn't make the series, because we're so busy now, I can't imagine if they were in it!"
We won't see the Series either though, since DirecTV is so busy they can't come until the end of next week!

check to see if you tv has a tuner (astc quam)
if you do, buy a cheap indoor antennas.
indoor antennas
and stop worrying about this fox situation.
you can get all broadcast hd channels plus sub channels for free with a $20 antenna if your tv has a tuner which most should.
