so done today (long boring vent...lol)
Sorry, but DH isn't home, and I have nobody to complain to...so I turn to you ladies (aren't you so lucky )
I'm just so done right now...I'm tired, I'm sore, I'm hungry, the house is a wreck, I've only put away half of the groceries, and I still have to cook dinner (especially since I already told DH I was cooking).
I'm officially done with food shopping until gets here. I hate going on weekends anyway, but I couldn't get there during the week this week. The place was packed and nobody pays attention to what the heck is going on around them. I'll admit, sometimes I do just stand there and stare at the shelf for a minute because I'm trying to figure out what deal is better or whatnot, but I pay attention. If someone is trying to get through, I'll move. I also try to position my cart in a way that doesn't block the entire aisle.
Other people aside, by the time I get to the register I'm hurting. This kid has been in my ribs for a few weeks now, and sometimes it just hurts sooo much. Especially when I have to bend a lot like in food shopping. DH isn't home right now, so I have to unload the car myself when I'm already in pain. It is ridiculous that I have to take a break between putting away the refrigerables and everything else. I'm officially using Peapod from now on
Thanks for letting me vent! I needed to get that out

Re: so done today (long boring vent...lol)
First of all
It's hard. No one tells you it's this hard. I think it's some unwritten secret that no one tells you about.
Carrying all of the groceries is just horrible. I haven't since I got my BFP. We compromised early on that I would only take in the stuff that needs to be refrigerated. We also live up three flights of stairs. It's gotten worse because I have a very bad ankle. The other night I had to crawl up the stairs because I was in so much pain. This was no exaggeration. I cried a little.
You are heading into your 3rd trimester and all of that energy you had in the 2nd, just goes away. It feels like the 1st all over again but your huge, it's awesome .
All I can say is feel better and have DH understand that you can't do the things you could before. Tell him that other ladies are crawling up stairs and that could be you soon
Again, feel better and hopefully everything will fly by.

Thanks!! DH was cool with it when I called and said I'm not going food shopping until April. He said I can do whatever I want until the baby comes...then we won't be able to afford anything
Sorry you've got the bum ankle and all those stairs!!

Weren't you running around like you were on Meth? NO?
I had a little more energy than the 1st, meaning I didn't need to take a nap every day.

Re: so done today (long boring vent...lol)
I am totally the same way. I can't even stand to be in the stores for more than 10 minutes. I start to get overheated and lightheaded and I can't stand being around most people. I have no idea how I am going to do the rest of my Christmas shopping
This is really hard. Do what you have to do to get through. If that means using Peapod, then do it. For me, my DH has been living on PB&J sandwiches for lunch because I haven't had the time or the desire to go to the deli to buy cold cuts.
Feel better!

I plan on doing all of my Christmas shopping online unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. I have even less desire than normal to go to the malls.
We've been living on fast food here...lots of pizza
