So DS is teething, what can I do to help soothe him?
He is so whiny and fussy and I feel bad because I know his teeth are bothering him. I tried a teething ring but it seems to big for his mouth.

I put some cucumber slices into the freezer and I made a little hole for his thumb to go into. It will get a little messy, but its a nice way for his little gums to get some cold relief.
Noah has sailed through teething (with only some vomiting) so I haven't had to use them. But they seem like a really good idea!!!

Hyland's teething tablets, there are natural drops too that are the same ingredients.
wet rags to suck on
cold watermelon in the teether net
cold bananas
DD will eat baby food if it's cold.
chewing on the baby spoons covered in plastic

Any toys with rubbery parts will do. I also gave motrin when it got really bad (after she was 6 months).
Other ideas-
Wet a washcloth and freeze it- I shaped it so it had kind of a handle. She didn't take it but others have recommended this.
Fill a pacifier with water and freeze it.
I also used apple slices in a net feeder.
Good luck, we had a week of misery and she still only has 1 tooth
