So Emotional on First birthday
My DD is one today and I am sooooooooooo emotional...I had a good ol cry for myself last night and thought I would be okay today but each time I look at her and she smiles at me I tear up ...I cannot believe my baby girl is growing up....thank goodness her party isnt until saturday...hopefully I wont have a meltdown then...
Will it be like this for all her birthdays or just the first one?

Re: So Emotional on First birthday
I was a mess a few days leading up to Roman's first. I made things worse by constsntly looking at pictures and videos from when he was first born

I was emotional leading up to her birthday.. But I think about where she is at now and all those hugs and kisses and (mamamamamammmamamama's) make it all worth it! Hugs !!!

DD turning one was very hard for me too! I turned 30 that same year and it was nothing compared to how hard 1 was. It does get easier!

yep, I can agree with those words I get choked up any time we sing happy birthday to my boys. The first birthdays, I get totally boohoo, but the birthdays thereafter I definitely get choked up and think about how much theyve grown, how amazed I am that they are my babies, and on and on..
