Re: so far, nothing wrong with me?????
Well, the good thing is that everything came back okay. Honestly, my BF worked in an OB-GYN for 15 years and she said that 1 in 4 pregnancies miscarry...and this is in women who aren't testing from day one, so there are countless pregnancies that can be lost in the first week or so without the mother knowing she was pregnant at all. We just happen to be in a small group that are dealing with IF and are tested more stingently than most.
I wish you luck and am sorry you don't have better answers. I know how difficult this is for you.

would you mind posting or FM'ing what tests exactly you had. I can almost guarantee you you did not have immune testing-the tests you just mentioned really have nothing to do with RPL(except for karytyping) I know its frustrating. I just got answers after 2 years of losses and I had been told I "had all the tests" too. It depends who you talk to.

While I dont have the list of blood tests in front of me I remember most of them I think. It was 19 vials of blood taken for a number of different tests including:
MTHFR antiphospholipid antibodies (3 differnt types I think?) Protein S Protein C Factor V and Factor II
again without the list in front of me im sure im missing some but are there any you can think of that i missed so i can double check?

Re: so far, nothing wrong with me?????
OK you had the RPL panel from a regular RE. I was in your situation and after 3 losses and one ectopic I chose to see a specialist called a reproductive immunologist on the advice of a friend. She is located in Chicago. From what I see you are missing:
PAI-1 NK Assay(VERY IMPORTANT) ANA-this is one of my issues DQ Alpha-for you and your DH Did you have your thyroid checked Immunoglobulin Panel Serum Protein Electrophoresis TH1:TH2 intracellular cytokine ratios Anti Phospholipid Antibodies(one o fteh most common) Anti-DNA, Histones Anti Thyroid Antibodies
There are also a bunch of tests on Dr. Beers site which I linke dyou to at the bottom
I am going to copy an e-mail I sent to someone else for you here because it is a lot to type.
Re: Info please
get ready to become a scientist. 1st things first-you should have the RPL panel-as I read it you have had 3 early losses. I am going to link you to a page that is one of the pioneers in this field. His name is Dr. Beer-he is now passed away, but he's got TONS of info on his site. 1st a few questions...Do you have a family history of clotting disorders or immune disorders(lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, stroke?) What are the symptoms when you miscarry..do you get pain in your joints? Rashes?
Link to Dr. Beers 5 categories of immune related pregnancy loss
He is a reproductive immunologist which is different that an endocrinologist. The only RE in NY that really will give you advanced immune testing is SIRM: SIRM RPL page I would also look at fertilethoughts.com and inciid.com and check their RPL chat boards. I have a bunch of studies but they are paper copies. If you want I can mail you some stuff....LMK.
I am truly sorry this is happening to you. Luckily many women have gotten PG and had healthy pregnancies
Here are some sites to check put
Dr. Beer(I am a Cetegory 3)
Also I would suggest you join the Yahoo Group Immunology Support. You can post your story on there and the ladies will give you advice.
I see you had the APA so scratch that
