well your plan is working then!! 
i did the same thing to my DH - he had, ahem, issues with finishing  when he knew we were BDing so i just stopped telling him. once i stopped telling him about my cycles, and he thought we were just DTD, he was all for it!
hmm, that might have been TMI right there
