So for the first time, I didn't bring the pump to work today
I think BF is coming to an end. I can tell Gavin is weaning himself. He pretty much just nurses in the morning and when I try throughout the day, he bites me. So, I started transitioning him to whole milk. He is doing great with the sippy cup and now only gets 2 bottles a day.
My supply has definitely drop and I don't feel full like I used too.
It is very bittersweet. I am sad, but also kinda relieved.
I hope he continues to nurse in the morning and I hope my supply stays steady for that morning feeding for a little longer.
I know I will be having more kids, so I know this isn't my last experience BF. But this was my first and it created such a bond between us. I can't believe my baby is going to be 1 next month.
I am going to miss it

Awww Tara - I'm there with you - it's almost time for me too (although Ryan does NOT seem to be weaning himself and I had hoped for that to me it easier - for me I guess).
I'm sure it is bittersweet - but was it liberating NOT to have to pump?? I feel like an addict at this point. I'm already in the middle of a milk transition - there is enough in the stash to get him by a bit longer, but I keep pumping - just in case. Tell me to stop!!
Gavin sounds like he is doing awesome!
