So he will not drink milk.
I can get maybe 2-3oz mixed in w/ like 6oz of formula and he'll reluctantly drink it - but he won't at all if it's 1/2 & 1/2 or G*D FORBID a whole milk cup. I tried the soy and he literally spit it at me He's 13.5 mos old and still on Gentlease.
Any advice on easing this transition??? It was easier to go from BF to FF!

Does he see you mix it in? I started it out gradually in formula - 1/4 of his bottle, 1/2, to full within about a week.

Not normally - no. I'm going to go back to just formula for a couple of days and then start again. The pedi said to put him on toddler formula until he's ready but gentlease doesn't make toddler formula and I don't want to switch that now too. Think it's ok for him to be on the infant formula for another mo or so?

Re: So he will not drink milk.
We used to use gentleease and switched to good start because it also had the partially digested milk protiens -- and they do have a step 2 formula for older children.
also are you heating the milk up? Emily wouldn't take it either and then we started heating it up and she LOVED it after that.
We just put the bottle in a mug in the sink and run hot water over it for a minute or two.

Re: So he will not drink milk.
You know, my DH suggested warming it too. He's been taking his formula cups straight from the fridge - he would never take them warm. Maybe I'll try the milk warm though and see what happens. Thanks!
