so I bought coconut oil.....

from trader joes.......

now what do i do with it, beauty-wise?

anything involving hair, i would like to try this weekend......so I don't end up with greasy locks at work.

give me some tips and ideas!

I like it as a lip moisturizer at night, or before I put on lipstick, YOU have to let it set in or wipe off the extra before you put lipstick on.

I also use it as a body moisturizer & make up remover (instead of cold cream).

I want to try hair again, it was too greasy the first time.

You have to use it as a hair mask before you shampoo, but I think I didn't let it soak in enough.

I use the Trader Joes one too...I put it in my hair all over, wrap it in a bun and wash it out in the morning.
I also put it on my feet and sleep with socks, take my eye makeup off with it, rub it on my legs after I shave.
My hair always looks great after..make sure you wash it ALL out though ;)

I takes a little while for it soak in as a lotion. I use it more at night.

I also forgot to add that I use it on my legs as a shaving oil, and my DH has used it to save also.

It's really the only thing I can shave with that doesn't cause me to look like I've been mauled by an animal. I have major issues with shaving!

It's good for dry feet- like calluses etc
I put it on then wear cotton socks to bed.

I can't tell you about hair- my hair is so fine and soft and flat that if I even let that stuff within a foot of my hair I'd have a disaster!!

ETA- It's a great make up remover.
