So I called Blydenburgh Park

because we were looking for somewhere to take the kids.


"We're open until 5pm."

"Ok great..."

I was informed that the rowboats are closed for the season, we talked about the horse back riding, biking, etc.

"We're on restricted hours."

"Oh because of the holiday??"

"No. We tested positive for West Nile Virus."

"Oookay then. Thank you very much!"

We could have avoided the entire conversation had the first sentence mentioned West Nile, no?
