So I got DD's xmas dress in the mail....with pics
and i'm not sure I love it on. Maybe my mom was right. It's too big or something. What can I do to make it look better?
What do you think?
This one just for fun...

I LOVE that dress...the pic of her sitting down is really cute but I have to be honest when she stands up it does look really big. What size did you buy? She is adorable BTW.

Love the last pic!
Can you take it up - give it a hem? I think we're going to have to do that to the Hanna Andersson dress I have for DDs'.

the dresses looks way to big. i would see if you can get a different size. or see what type of material it is so maybe you can shrink it.

Re: So I got DD's xmas dress in the mail....
I'm afraid to get the smaller size only because according to their size charts she's already taller and heavier than the max for the next smaller size and xmas is 2 months away.
Maybe I'll try to shrink it or have it hemmed. DH is going to kill me if I spend one more dime on this dress!!

Re: So I got DD's xmas dress in the mail....with pics
I got my dress that I ordered from HA today too. I orderd the size 80 because DD is 17.5 months, but it's huge - but according to their sizing chart, 80 is 10-24months!! Now I'm thinking I should've ordered the size 70. I want to buy the Sherpa dress that you bought too, but I'm so confused about the size now.

Re: So I got DD's xmas dress in the mail....with pics
I ordered size 80 (10 - 24 months). She'll be 13 months at xmas. She's at the very bottom of their weight and height range. She's supposedly bigger than size 70.
Should I return it and get size 70? I'm almost out of time for her birthday. UGHHH!!! I'm going to try that one on tomorrow.

I think we should've bought a size 70 for our girls. She'll probably fit into it in at least 6 months., def. not by Xmas.

I may exchange them both. I did it through mail - I hope I get the right size in time. Her party is in 3 weeks. I'm so torn.

Re: So I got DD's xmas dress in the mail....with pics
I called Hanna Anderson this morning. They are going to send me both dresses in the smaller size (70) with free shipping. She said just exchange the one that I don't want. They sent a prepaid postage label for the return.
Fingers crossed the smaller size fits better

10-24 months? That is HUGE size range! I would get the smaller one. It's a really cute dress and I LOVE the tights!
