So I had a really bad "Why Not Me" moment

We went to local restaurant tonight, it is a two minute walk from home, they cater a lot for kids, we don't eat there much, but it's close.

So we are in there tonight and a couple comes in, about our age with the MOST beautiful baby girl, she was about 1 and I got a pain in my stomach like I was winded, "why can't that be me"? Ooohh did that hurt.

I regrouped in the loo and I was fine, I don't get those feelings often, and I don't know if any of you do, but when I get them they knock me sideways

Sometimes it breaks my heart in two how much this sucks and how much it hurts us both.

I'm Ok now back on an even keel as they say.

I feel like the girl that didn't get picked for the team sometimes - do you know what I mean?

Its 100% Not fair and hurts like hell. No other way around it.

But have faith, its the only thing you have control over.

I can't tell yo how much I hate when that happens. I'm like you, most of the time, no problem...but everyone once in a while - BAM! - it just sort of hits me in the stomach.

IF does suck and I am sorry you had one of those moments.....

I have those moments too! And like you, most of the time I am okay but every now and then it does hit me like a ton of bricks.

I know how you feel and its horrible. I had that twice this weekend once when a friend told her husband who she has been seperated from for 5 years that their one night together gave her a BFP and his first repsonse was "I am not paying child support on this one too". And another time hearing about someone with 3 kids, doing and selling drugs and involving an 8 year old in running.

So yeah... I have those moments. and they suck

I'm sorry you felt bad. I have those moments too, and they suck. Usually after hearing about someone mistreating their child in some way, or going someplace where there are lots of kids around.

I also love when people who don't know you that well, coworkers and the like, make comments like "You two had better get moving, what are you waiting for?" If they only knew!
