So, I have not been posting much on here lately...
I am not sure where I belong. LIF has a TTC board, a infertility board, and a parenting board. Not sure where I fit in.
Parenting - I know I am a parent but DD is 2 now (not a baby anymore) and with all these new babies and 07 and 06 moms getting preggo I feel like I don't belong lately. I am happy for everyone, yet sometimes it is hard to come onto this board for me. More and More I am finding myself having to "search" for stuff to reply to that is not baby or TTC #2, or a preggo in hiding related.
TTC and Infertility - I cannot TTC and I am fertile, I cannot get preggo b/c it threatens my life. Having another child biologically is NOT an option for me ever again, short of a medical miracle happening (most of you all know my story).
So I have been on NPR, Fashion, Diet & fitness and the home board more and more lately. So, if anyone was wondering where I was or why i am not on parenting as much, that is the reason. I will pop on from time to time and respond to threads that I feel I can respond to.
I wish all of the preggos in hiding and all of my 06 mommies that are TTC tons of  and lots of  . Good Luck!

i feel the same way sometimes. my dc are 4 and 5 years old. and i feel really out of place sometimes. and i cant have another baby either due to my next baby would be VERY high risk, so no more kids for me either. So ill be seeing you over at the other boards  . im on the storyboard alot and celebritey gossip. That alone keeps me real busy.

Dina I know what you mean. I feel like that a lot when I post about my daughter because most of the active posters have ones smaller than her and cannot relate to where I am with her.
But yet I have a little one. I don't know.
But I do love looking at all the little ones and they are very lucky that there are so many close in age that they can 'grow up together'

Trust me, I know! We're done and my kids are older. I can get pregnant again, but that would not be good for my kidney, which I had surgically repaired after I had DD. Besides the fact that DH is not budging 
I do think though as our children get older, we can offer advice as BTDT. There are so many new issues we come upon, like potty training, going to school, etc. that can be a valuable source of info for others. So I hope you stick around here too

Aww, you shouldnt feel that way. Its perception. I do understand...if I hadnt gotten this miracle, the PGS etc would be KILLING ME inside.
But looking at the first page alone, I see 4-6 posts about toddlers 2+...Parties, diaper trainign etc ?'s....and I see them all the time, so I dont think your exactly right about not fitting in here.

My DS is just 1, but he will be 2,3,4,5 and so on soon, so I love to see posts about the older kids...to know what I have to FEAR..and look forward to in the future.

I haven't wondered  But that's because I've been seeing you on Diet and Fitness   
But I know how you feel. Parenting board just doesn't do it for me anymore. I am definately not TTC or preggo (or even THINKING about TTC or wanting to TTC).
I don't even go on Home board because I'm just not tha into doing things around the house

Maybe client services can create another board like Toddler or school age? That way people who are settled in their families would feel more comfortable?

My DC are 2.5 and 5.5, and I'm still on here a lot. I think there will be a lot of activity when DC start going to Kindergarten. DS starts in a few weeks, so I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions, comments, answers, etc.
There are just as many questions and issues to deal with with older DC as newborns, so there is still plenty of reason to stay in the Parenting forum.

There are still quite a few of us with toddlers and no babies, or not pregnant, so trust me, you're still in good company, particularly as we go through school/pottytraining/discipline/temper tantrum, etc.... issues

Well, I for one, have been wondering where you are and missing you. I never used to think we needed a baby board and an older child board, but you know what? Lately I feel like we do. I love all the little ones and I love helping out the new moms when I can, but quite honestly, I don't really remember much from when Ava was little, and I'm having so many different issues these days. Maybe we coudl get LIF to start a new board. I mean, if they have a step parent board, I wouldn't say it's out of the realm of possibilities to have two parenting boards.

As a new parent, I would miss reading the older baby posts. We're not so far behind the moms of 2-yr olds - we'll be there before you know it. And where would moms of multiple children post? I love hearing about the funny potty training stories and all the great stuff we're in store for - please don't leave us ladies

I don't care for the splitting boards idea since I'm sure I'm not the only one with a younger and older child. Not to mention the confusion for GTG's having to post on 2 boards about it.

I feel you guys too..dd will be 2 in september and its just not an option for us now to have another....we would love to...but i odn't know how we would do it....
