Pity party! I would feel very much the same way if I were in your shoes- it must be very painful.
I was hoping the parenting board would progress to older child issues too! So you are not alone

It has been a hard few weeks b/c my SIL miscarried 2 weeks ago at 7 weeks pregnant and DH and I were praying so hard for them (my brother and SIL have been trying for over 2 yrs).
Plus, 4 of my friends are preggo and one just had a baby 2 weeks ago. I can tell that they are all handling me with kid gloves. It sucks. No one knows what to say to me. I feel like the odd woman out. I wish someone would just say, Hey I know this sucks for you, BUT I want to share my experience w/you, tell you about it, and hang out with you. Are you up for that? I would answer with a resounding YES, if I was asked.
My one friend who I always used to hang out with, is in her 5th month and I have not seen her all summer...she live in my town and has two older kids. I have no idea why? Maybe she feels funny? What do I say? It is awkward and it sucks that my friends feel like they have to walk on eggshells around me. Yet I have never said that I don't want to hear about it or anything...they are assuming that I don't want to hear about their pregnancies. KWIM?
