so i havent gotten a chance tell everyone dd's first word was....

Maaaaaaaaaaaa!.......and it has slowly gotten to Mamamamama.... I feel kind of bad for dh bc he thought from hearing others that dd's first word was going to be dada so he was in denial but he has now had to come to terms with it since she's saying it more and more everyday, but he has now started to flood her with dadas every time he is with her i hear him say it over and over lolol

AWWW so cute. Isn't it wonderful hearing mama . You may want to warn your dh that some kids just don't say dada. My ds is almost 14months old and won't say dada. He says lots of other words just won't say dada.

How cute! It's such a great sound to hear! My ds said mama first too! As someone else said, your dd might not say dada or it might take awhile for her to do so. My ds will say dada but it's rare and he's almost 14 months!
