So I hear this coming from my bedroom...
.....WOW Mommy look at all the presents!!!!!
I have the all hidden in my closet and Damien NEVER EVER goes in there, until today of course. I told him they were all presents for Daddy from me Luckily most were piled into big bags so he only saw a few things. Thank goodness he isn't a little bit older, the jig would have been up for sure

Aww!! DS has probably seen his gifts a million times in the closet. They are wrapped but he hasn't said anything. He probably thinks they are for someone else. I did tell him last year that Santa sometimes borrows our wrapping paper if he runs out in case he puts things together one of these years

After I already knew there was no Santa - my parents tricked me with my gifts one year by writing on the gifts:
To: Ringo
To: John
To: Paul
To: George
I kept asking who these people were and they told me friends of theirs - I never guessed that they were the names of the Beatles...

The same thing happened to my sister with her 4 year old. She told her daughter they were gifts for Maddie, my daughter. We were trying to think of other reasons for why there would be presents there before Christmas, and we came up with this (only if gifts are wrapped): Sometimes, Santa has to drop some of the presents off early because it's so much work getting presents to everybody. That was the only thing we could think of, but luckily she believed they were for Maddie, so we didn't have to use the other story. As creative as I thought it was, it kind of contradicts Santa's magic
