So I need to fill my summer to keep my mind off things...anything happening on long island/NYC for kids??
Just thought i'd ask since DH will be away for 6 loooong months. I'd like to fill the summer with things to do with the boys that they will look forward to.
If anyone has ideas of day trips/concerts etc pass it on!!
(I live in MD but my family is in NY and i'll be there a whole lot!!)

Hi....I live on Long Island, but have gone to Sesame Place and Dutchwonderland in PA. We went to Sesame, stayed overnight, and then went to Dutchwonderland. What a great trip. Hershey park is on the list for this summer.
There is also Six Flags that has a ton of kiddie rides and a Safari in the NJ one. I heard the one in Lake George is fantastic too.
We plan on doing a day trip to NYC and hitting the NY Aquarium and the Museum of Natural History.
