So I read Dead Until Dark...
and while it was a quick read, I have to say I didn't really feel drawn in. Am I the only one? Should I give it another try and read the second book? I guess I thought I would be hooked like I was with Twilight.

It took me forever to read the first book, I really wasn't into it. I wasn't even going to continue the series, but I'm so glad I did!!
I was totally hooked after book 2! The series is great, you should definitely keep reading them, you won't be dissapointed!!

Yup, the first one was tough to get through, but then the others were really good. I was a little disappointed with the last one.

I read the first book and was really not that into it. I thought the series was much better. I read the second book (only because I had bought it with the first). The second book totally had me hooked. I am trying to *patiently* wait for the 3rd to come in to my library. Try to read book 2..they get better.

I made the mistake of reading it right after Twilight and did not like it at all. I read some other books and then came back to book 2, which i bought at the same time as book 1. I really liked it and read the whole series. Keep going!

The first book is my least favorite. The other books are so good, I loved them. I would definitely give the next book a try.

if DH didn't get me the set for christmas I would have never continued reading the series after the 1st book. Now I'm on the last book and so sad that there's no more to read after it. IMO, they get better with each book.
