So I THOUGHT my water broke this morning

At 10:20 this morning I felt a very involuntary trickle. I went to clean myself up and it happened again. It was very clear, odorless. I thought for sure it was the beginning of something. I was more nervous about being too early than anything else. I called the dr he said no food or drink and go to the hospital. So now here I am freaking out packing a bag and trying not to panic or forget anything. We left the bag at home we figured we're only 5 mins away, if I had to stay my mom or someone will just go back and get it. Anyway, after being admitted and hooked up to monitors, had an uncomfortable internal, sono and all other tests it turns out they think I probably just urinated. We got to the hospital at 11:20 and were released around 2:30. I couldnt eat the whole time. We're happy it was nothing but I just didnt wanna be "that girl." So we went home and thats it. I have a dr appt on Thursday and we'll see what happens from here. I have 5 weeks exactly until my scheduled date. Tonight we're still going on the hospital tour and taking the c-section class.

Just thought I would update everyone, dont feel bad if you just peed yourself and you think your water broke, youre not alone!

It is actually pretty common according to the nurse who was in charge of my Lamaze class. She told us that if we think we are leaking water to go to the bathroom and fully empty our bladder (lean forward when going to make sure), lay down on our side for about 15-20 minutes and quickly stand up again. If you feel it again it is likely your water, if not you prob just peed yourself a little.

this happened to me too when i was 32 wks PG with DS . i thought my water broke, called my Dr and went straight to the hospital. Turns out I too had probably just peed on myself!!! BUT I didnt feel too bad that I had dragged my Dr there bc I ended up being 3 cm dilated at the time and they kept me in the hospital for 1 week bc they were scared i was having preterm labor!!
