So if an EX called you totally out of the blue..

What would you do? How would you feel?

Not calling for like a booty call just saying hi, how are you, hows life, etc.

Oh and you knew that they must have had to do some work to get your phone number since they didn't have it.

Some I do keep in touch with or it would be pretty easy for some to get my number. I would wonder for sure why they are calling. I can admit there are a few guys from my past that I wonder how they are doing

hmmmm I don't know. I mean if he is just calling that one time to say hi then I don't see what the big deal is. I am happily married so I could care less about my ex.

If he starts calling frequently then that I would tell him to stop.

my Ex used to pop up in IMs all the time...
he would wait about 2 months then contact me...

I was always rather cold.

He would go on and on about how much he thought about me, how he would give his right arm for me (he is a softball player so it was a bigger deal )

I would just say...thanks for the sentiment..

We would chit chat a little and that was it. But the last time he Imed me it was when he found out i got married!

I would be flattered. But there is no way it would happen. I know my one main ex whose not attached as far as I know would be too scared to call my house since he knows I am married. As for the others, they are married. But if it ever happened. I would totally just laugh.....

I dont think I ended any one of my past relationships in a good way.

It would deend on the situation but I would wonder. I have one ex (where I'm the one who got away) and he contacts me once in awhile, but it always trusn out to be two things !) him trying to get into my pants and 2) a disaster

My ex used to e-mail me and I would chat w/ him but he knew there was a line he couldn't cross. He was my 1st love but it's too late now everyone has moved on.

I'd tell him all about how I love being married and how I got to go on safari for my honeymoon (he was dying to go) and I'd be all polite but gushing. Let him ROT in it

(ETA: I actually did that a month before my wedding when he drove down my block as I was getting out of my car )

I had an ex call me & believe me he had to search for my #. It didn't bother me I don't mind him calling just to say hello. I did wonder at first why he called.

I would talk to him, I really have no animosity to most af my exes...and the one that I do, I would love to rub in his face how happy I am now!

Mine use to call all the time... or stop by my parents house...

He knows Im married...and pg. he's married and has a 2yr old daughter... however he would still hunt me down..

I would screen my calls.. and the times he would get me Id be so cold!!!! I have nothing against him... but dont feel they need to have any kinda friendship with him...

I have had this happen a couple of times since moving to NYC from TN. One was an ex that I would have been happy to never hear from again in my life. I believe that I said "OH, hello and goodbye." He never called back. The other ex and I had not spoken in years and he found me when he moved to NYC. We are friends and now see each other and speak at least a few times a year.

Well 3 exes were invited to my wedding- and 2 came (1 lives in London- but invited me to his wedding in 2 weeks). I really only have 1 ex I am not in touch with.

If he called I would talk to him and be nice- although I may have to show off my amazing husband and successful life- My ex is 30 and last I heard (last year) he was working as a bouncer outside some cheesy club in Boston. I am an attorney and DH just started his own custom cabinet making and custom furniture business. I am happy with my life and where I ended up.

I guess it depends upon WHICH ex.

The relationship before DH wouldn't bother me. We only dated for 5 months and we ended on a good note. He's a good person and I only wish him the best.

The EX before that... I dated for 11 months. He was older (11 years) and divorced. I started to see a very critical, manipulative and possibly abusive side to his personality towards the end. I would be polite to him but would tell him I've moved on with my life and wish him well in his. I would hope he wouldn't know where I lived.. HINT: Don't call me ever again

Well, depending on who it was, I wouldn't really care or think anything of it. There's really only one person that I would be freaked out if he called.

Well, I thought my Ex wouldve lost my # by now, but found out last week, he still had it on his wall (10 years later )
Anyway, if he called, dont think I'd talk. He never did call when we split up, so, thats cool.
Any other ex, i'd probably talk to and see what there up to.

I would probably be cordial but make it very clear that I am not interested in persuing any type of communication. However this is because I was extremely hurt by them.
