I always thought that the name should be on the right because that's the hand you shake with, and the logo goes on the left.

This is what I was thinking, too... but I'm thinking in terms of if I were wearing the shirt... If you're looking at the shirt, though, the logo would be on the right and the name on the left.

I just checked my DH work shirts, and they are both ways. I guess either way is correct.
