So... if I have money in Wachovia and Citibank...
Wachovia is my "main" bank down here in VA... but I do have a small checking account and some mutual funds (well... what's left of them" in Citibank.
Will the two merge? Stay separate?

mergers don't happen overnight...
eventully, everything will turn to citibank numbers with reissue debit/credit cards, terms and conditions, etc...
everything will be normal till you receive corraspondance which probally won't be till Q1 or Q2 next depending on the complexeity of bring the two banks to 1 name
if they were smart, similar to chase, they posted some basic information on there homepage. In Chase part, WaMu had already failed. Wachovia was just purchased..
