See the problem is that all those kids who missed the 80's (those born in 1987 and on) are dying to experience it and those who did live through it and found the 80's to be the best time ever want to relive it. LET 80'S FASHION DIE!!! I mean, hints here and there are great, but a whole ensemble???
Anyway, imho, wear what looks good on YOU not what the designers THINK you should wear!

I think bootcuts look the best on me. I am not going to go with the trend only to wear something that makes me look ridiculous. Even Stacy & Clinton have pointed out that a good bootcut elongates the leg. And mine are short & pudgy so I need all the elongating that I can get!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, I think as soeone said, HINTS of 80's fashion can be relaly hip and cute, but to bring back the WHOLE 80's look. augh.
Well at least bleach blonde big haired secretaries in NJ will have their clothes be in style again... (joking!)
I am NOT giving up my flare pants. I go right past the bootcut and I wear flares. I know they're not "in" anymore. I LOVED it when flares and widelegs were in. With flares, it's really flattering because I'm big in the booty area, and with wide legs, everyone looks fat. haha

same here, I won't give in!
i will not give in to tapered jeans... EVER!! I love my flare and bootcut jeans.. i cant bring myself back to the 80's!!!!

I still see bootcuts. just like when they brought pointy toe shoes back, they kept the square toe ones - thankfully!
