So if Pathmark's sale starts tomorrow..

May 1st...can I go shopping tonight at midnight and get everything at sale price or will it not be out until that morning.

It's a 24 hour pathmark...

this type of thing TOTALLY depends on the store, who the manager is etc.

Ive lucked out when they were putting up signs for the next day, and since the signs were up, they felt that had to honor it the night before. (and Ive had the total opposite happen too, so it depends).


I would simply call and speak to a manager,and ask if they can do you a huge favor, there's no way you can get out with 2 small children, etc. if they can honor the prices this evening.
I cant see why not.

(oh and ask who you're speaking to, because we know the "Who did you speak to, I dont know what youre talking about" routine, loll)

Wow, not questioning your answer but rather the store....

I cant imagine a flyer saying 5/1/09 and them saying at 12:01 that its not 5/1/09 bc they didnt switch the signs...
That would make my BP boil.
So if what you said occurs....save that extra energy and do make that phone call. Boy would I be irked if the sale wasnt changed.Hope you get what you need bc my dd ate all my groceries while in the cart this week...shopping with kids just stinks.

I would assume at a 24-hour store, the sale would start at midnight. If you don't want to waste a trip, though, you can always call ahead of time and ask what time the sales prices go into effect.

Since 12:01 is considered Friday, they would really be off their rockers if they didn't abide by their own ad.

i worked at a 24 hour pathmark for 4 years and i can tell you that they SHOULD honor the sales for the next week if its after 12am.... at least our store did!
