Which ones you really don't know or think you know but use them to mean something else

I always use that one to express, kind of I feel bad.
but I'm not exactly sure what appeased means.

appeased means like you're happy/satisfied....

like if you have a problem, I say something to help you, you're then appeased

(I think that's what it means)

I've used to express borderline annoyance.

I always though that this little guy was panting. It took me a long time before I realized that he was just sticking his tongue out.
