So jealous! my BIL just bought a 2nd house
in TX
brand new, 3200 sq feet, 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, walk in closets, media room, gaming area, 3 car garage, gourmet kitchen w/SS appliances, $30K in free upgrades from the builder, $5K Home Depot gift card, $2500 gas card

they have a house in Murphy now (about 30-40 minutes from Dallas). he said their new house is in a different town about 10 minutes away, but same SD.

I won't flame you. I've been there and could never see myself living there - EVER! plus it's way too hot down there for my taste. I don't want 8 months of summer!  March - October it's in the 80s - 100's.
I would just love to be able to buy a decent house for that much around here.
