We went to the Dr. today. Good news is that I no longer have a low lying placenta, baby appears to be healthy and I felt pretty good today. The baby is currently in the 20th percentile in terms of weight and size. That is not a terrible concern at the moment but we expect that his growth may become more restricted from my heart medication. My doctor said that anything better than the 10th percentile is technically normal. However, I will soon begin weekly biophysical testing, because of my medication and my history of uterine fibroid surgery.
My sister and I were tiny babies and my sister's babies were on the small side. However, my doctor does not believe that this is really a "family" thing.
Funny, my mom and I always go crazy for chubby little babies b/c they are so adorable. However, I am looking at having a scrawny one!
If my baby were coming at the same time as Mr. Brontosaurus, I'd want to lay them side by side for a photo!

My sister and I were both small babies...and we both went on to have largish babies. It so funny how this all works out.
My kids dont get really big b/c I have them early...but my eldest was 8lbs when she was born and she was 4 weeks early..she is now not even 5 feet tall at 13...she might grow another inch but thats about it. Out of my sisters kids her Largest baby (9lbs) is now her littlest one...
Im sure your little boy will be just perfect in every way....

They grow soooo much in the last couple of months that you really have nothing to worry about at this point...your baby is going to be perfect and pudgy...just how you like them!
