So lets talk about this L'Oreal Roll on Foundation
I bought it bc I heard and read so many raves about it.....I HATE it.
I think its a PITA to apply evenly, it goes on in lines on my face which I end up having to blend with my fingers or a makeup sponge anyway. I think its cakey, and Ive tried altering the amount of foundation on the roller.
Anyone love it, and I must just be doing something wrong? Or have you tried it and were also disappointed?

I hate it. I feel like it goes on so unevenly and I'm painting stripes on my face. I still need to blend also which completely defeats the purpose IMO. I don't even use it anymore.

Talk about literally "painting" your face! I don't wear those types of foundations, though I was intrigued. I just don't see how different the application willl be, if anyting, I think it might be a little more cumberson to use.

it works well for me - but i roll it on, then use a foundation brush to blend it in the nooks and crannies  (nose, forehead sides, eyes, etc.).
eta: I usually don't use foundation - only when I'm going out or something like that. Because I don't USUALLY use foundation, I stink at applying it and it usually goes on too heavy. This roller takes that option away from me!

i love it! it goes on so smooth and light. what i do is roll it on to under my eye than make sure i get chin and under the jaw and forehead and nose, than blend it with a sponge lightly. it is so much quicker than it sounds! definitely easier and lighter than liquid. i do concealer after.

I love it. I do get lines but a simple blend with my finger takes it away. It goes on light and I barely feel like I am wearing makeup. I am normally a no makeup kinda girl and since I bought it I find that it is so easy to apply I wear it all the time.

I am sorry it does not work well for you. I think you are applying to much pressure. One day after using it for a week I applied a different amount of pressure and it was streaky. I took it off, reapplied it with less pressure and it was perfect again.

thanks...I dont think Im pressing that hard at all, but maybe its hard enough...Ill try even less pressure tomorrow!
