so many spelling mistakes in books!
It's amazing to me how many spelling mistakes I find in books! I'm an avid reader and both young adult and adult books have obvious spelling errors!
I just finished Hex Hall and they spelled a character's name 2 different ways! I noticed it right away...how does that pass through editing?
I feel like a published piece should be free of errors--especially books that are so popular and well known!

ebooks seem to be much worse, but i've noticed them in both. drives me crazy! especially when i know the authors are capable of flawless work.

I've actually been noticing them in print books a lot lately, too. I always want to whip out my red pen and correct it.
